We picked up Valentine’s treats from our local bakery yesterday – so I had delicious brownies!!! I just put the kettle on for a cup of hot tea as well. It is chilly and rainy today, so I’m content to stay indoors. I’ve ordered prints of several photos taken of us while we were at Disney last month too. Of course I needed to properly crop them and clean up a few things first.

This one is unedited, but it shows my custom phone case that Junk Traders Outpost made for me. I love it. I also drew a temporary tattoo on my arm – the logo is the Chandrila Star Line from Star Wars – the Lady H. is no more thanks to Disney 😦 but the starcruiser lives on among all of us who had the rare opportunity to either cruise aboard her or service on the blue crew during her brief run.

Why do I so very much enjoy diving into the Star Wars universe as both a character and a bounder when on Batuu? Escapism? The camaraderie with other like-minded folks? The chance to ‘live’ in a galaxy far, far away? Escape the realities of my daily life? Yes. All of it. And thanks to The Halcyon experience – I am Star Wars canon!!

Anyway….time to grab my cuppa and contemplate what to dig into next….client work or personal ‘to do’ list? I have a feeling that I’ll just put off the client work until Monday. Even though I haven’t worked a Mon-Fri job in decades, I’m still in that mindset of having weekends off. But I do need to better organize myself and work more efficiently going forward. Our financial needs will have to be fed from my income alone for a while. I’m not looking forward to that extra pressure. But it is what it is. I can only work at a certain pace due to my own health limitations. And I still plan to further pursue more passive income methods. I have an ETSY shop, but I haven’t sold one item yet. Time to buy some advertising? I hate to invest in that when I haven’t earned a cent yet – but the listings are costing me money every month too. What to do, what to do.

I am grateful for my husband, for coffee, for chocolate and for having the time to explore those things that attract my attention in this world.
